About Sophia
I earned my M.S. in Physics from MIT and have 5 years of tutoring experience in Boston, focusing on Thermodynamics and quantum applications. I also worked as a teaching assistant for advanced lab courses, guiding undergraduates in hands-on experiments. I hold a Massachusetts Physics Teaching Certificate and am available weekday and weekend sessions. I deliver elite Physics and quantum methods—covering classical mechanics, Thermodynamics (entropy, heat cycles), and foundational quantum concepts (superposition, basic particle-in-a-box). Lessons integrate Calculus-based derivations and hands-on demonstrations (home calorimetry). We also use Python for quantitative physics tasks like data fitting and simulation of projectile motion.
