About Meera
My fascination with economics began with observing how financial decisions, markets, and policies influence daily life. This curiosity led me to pursue a B.A. in Economics and an M.Sc. in Applied Economics, deepening my understanding of theory, quantitative methods, and policy analysis. Over 8 years of teaching, I have guided students through complex economic concepts with patience, clarity, and practical insight. I focus on creating lessons that adapt to individual learning styles, balancing conceptual explanation with applied examples. Visual aids, interactive discussions, and real-world scenarios are integrated to help learners grasp abstract ideas effectively. My approach ensures students gain both comprehension and confidence in tackling economic problems. Outside teaching, I remain engaged with current economic developments, research, and policy analysis, allowing me to bring contemporary and relevant insights into the classroom. Helping students develop analytical reasoning, critical thinking, and a curiosity for economics is deeply fulfilling, and seeing their growth into independent thinkers is one of the most rewarding aspects of my work.
