About Eloise
My interest in economics developed when I started learning about how economic decisions influence society, businesses, and individual lives. I became particularly interested in understanding how markets operate and how government policies affect economic stability and growth. This curiosity led me to pursue higher education and complete a Master’s degree in Economics.
Over the past 7 years, I have taught students from different academic levels and helped them understand economic concepts in a clear and practical way. Many learners initially find economics difficult because it includes graphs, theories, and analytical reasoning. I focus on explaining these topics step by step while connecting them to real-world examples so that students can see their relevance.
Outside teaching, I enjoy following economic news and learning about global financial trends and development policies. Staying informed about current economic discussions helps me introduce relevant examples into my lessons. Helping students understand how economics shapes everyday life is one of the most rewarding aspects of my teaching career.

Economics helps students understand how societies manage resources, make financial decisions, and organize production and trade. My lessons focus on explaining core concepts such as supply and demand, market structures, economic growth, inflation, and government policies. Instead of memorizing definitions, students learn how economic principles influence real-world situations such as prices, employment, and business decisions.
During lessons, I guide students through examples that demonstrate how economic ideas work in everyday life. Beginners start by learning fundamental concepts such as scarcity, opportunity cost, and basic market interactions. Intermediate learners explore topics such as elasticity, consumer behavior, and production theory. Advanced students examine macroeconomic issues such as national income, fiscal policy, and international trade. Discussions and problem-solving activities help students develop analytical thinking and critical evaluation skills.
As students gain a deeper understanding of economics, they begin to see how economic forces shape global markets and everyday financial choices. This awareness helps them interpret news, understand policy debates, and make more informed decisions. My goal is to help students build strong conceptual understanding and confidence while studying economics.
