About Maelle
I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a Master of Science in Economics. Over the past 11 years, I have taught students across school and university levels, helping them build strong foundations in economic theory and application. My interest in economics began with curiosity about how societies allocate resources and make financial decisions. Teaching allows me to share this understanding and help students develop analytical thinking skills.
My teaching philosophy focuses on clarity, real-world connection, and structured learning. I believe students understand economics best when concepts are linked to current events and practical examples. I simplify complex theories into easy explanations so learners can build confidence step by step. This approach helps students develop strong reasoning and analytical skills.
Outside teaching, I enjoy studying global markets, reading economic research, and analyzing financial trends. These interests help me keep my lessons updated and relevant. Watching students grow from confusion to confidence in economics is highly rewarding. My goal is to help learners understand how economic systems shape the world around them.

My economics lessons are designed to help students understand how real-world financial and market systems function. I focus on key areas such as microeconomics, macroeconomics, demand and supply, inflation, national income, fiscal policy, and market structures. Each topic is explained in a simple and structured way so students can clearly connect theory with real-life applications. I use current events, examples, and case-based learning to make economics engaging and practical.
Students are guided according to their academic level and learning needs. Beginners focus on basic economic concepts such as scarcity, opportunity cost, and market behavior. Intermediate learners explore government policies, economic indicators, and business cycles. Advanced learners work on economic models, policy analysis, and global economic systems. Each lesson includes structured explanations, discussions, and practice questions to strengthen understanding.
My goal is to help students develop strong analytical thinking and a deeper understanding of how economies function. As learners progress, they begin to interpret economic trends and make logical connections between theory and real-world situations. Economics becomes a practical tool for understanding society and decision-making. I encourage curiosity, critical thinking, and consistent learning throughout the journey.
