About Logan
My interest in economics began with a deep curiosity about how societies allocate resources and respond to challenges such as inequality, growth, and development. This passion led me to pursue a B.A. in Economics followed by an M.Sc. in Development Economics, where I studied global economic systems, policy frameworks, and social impact in depth. Over 12 years of teaching, I have supported students in building clarity, confidence, and structured reasoning through patient guidance and consistent encouragement. I believe effective teaching requires empathy, adaptability, and clear communication. Many students initially find economics abstract or confusing, so I take time to explain concepts slowly and revisit ideas when needed. I encourage open discussion and questions, helping learners feel comfortable expressing their thoughts and refining their understanding through dialogue. Beyond teaching, I stay engaged with economic research, policy analysis, and global economic discussions. These ongoing interests help me bring current and relevant perspectives into lessons. Teaching economics is fulfilling because I see students grow into informed, confident individuals who can analyze real-world issues thoughtfully and responsibly.

Economics becomes meaningful when students clearly see how theories explain real-life decisions, social outcomes, and policy choices. My lessons focus on building a strong understanding of microeconomics, macroeconomics, development economics, and global trade by linking abstract models to everyday examples. I guide learners through concepts such as scarcity, incentives, markets, inflation, growth, and public policy using clear explanations that gradually deepen understanding. This approach helps students move beyond memorization and toward true analytical thinking.
Lesson structure is carefully adapted to each learner’s level and academic goals. Beginners are guided through basic economic principles, demand and supply, opportunity cost, and simple graphical interpretation with patience and clarity. Intermediate learners strengthen numerical problem-solving, elasticity analysis, national income concepts, and policy evaluation. Advanced learners focus on economic models, data interpretation, structured answer writing, and exam-oriented analytical responses. Continuous discussion and guided feedback ensure clarity and confidence at every stage.
Economics lessons also help students develop broader life skills such as critical thinking, logical judgment, and awareness of global issues. Learners gain confidence in evaluating choices, understanding consequences, and forming reasoned opinions. My goal is to help students approach economic questions thoughtfully and feel confident applying economic reasoning in both academic and real-world contexts.
