Given specific areas to work on, I'll plan the necessary number of lessons to cover each, each lesson involving a demonstration stage (including tips or learning shortcuts that may not be taught in school) and an assisted question completion stage, with a few questions / exercises at the end that I might ask the student to complete before the next lesson. If the student has no specific areas to work on I will plan similar lessons with the base objective being to cover the entire syllabus in chronological order, and the main goal being to provide methods of easily reaching or exceeding the standard expected.
I will make use of several learning aids on the internet, for example I may design a quizlet study set (quizlet.com) catered to the specific subject area being covered that would be used briefly during the lesson but would be accessible 24/7 on the site for practice.
I will sometimes design digital posters or guides to aid learning and revision of certain topics, which can be sent to the student via e-mail and printed at their convenience. Having designed a full syllabus revision guide for each of my subjects (I can send an example if requested) during GCSE's and A-levels, I have a fair amount of experience doing this.
In regards to personality, I'm a very easy-going person that cracks terrible jokes from time to time but not afraid to push for results.
I'm a computer science student at Durham University about to start my second year, with A levels in Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Spanish. I'm available during term holidays, the start/end dates for which I can detail if a job is requested. I've always been eager to help friends at school and university with work or revision methods, and I've briefly tutored family friends with great results.
