About Celestina

I'm a mother of two teens, I have taught in NM, OK, and TX. I love to paint, draw, roller skate and work out in my spare time. I like to travel and enjoy the outdoors. I formerly played roller derby for 11 years, I have also coached volleyball, basketball and track.

About the lesson

I have taught various science subjects throughout my 20 years of teaching. I also have taught and tutored Math from 5th grade to college level including statistics. I use various methods to assist my students in understanding the concepts. I will constantly assess understanding and adjust my methods accordingly. I look forward to helping you succeed!

When I was in 11th grade I had an English teacher who would say I never turned my assignments in despite that being false. 2 other girls and I were having the same issue and we decided to talk to our chemistry teacher who is Celestina . Celestina not only listened to our concerns but she also went to the superintendent about the issue. We all knew that she is trustworthy and has our best interest at heart. She truly was my favorite teacher even after being out of school for almost 10 years now
