About Richard
Hello there, I'm Rich, a Physics graduate with 10+ years of teaching and tutoring experience. I have honed my teaching skills and subject knowledge working in a couple of fantastic schools, one as a Physics and Maths teacher at a high performing grammar school and more recently as Physics Lead at a STEM University Technical College.
My goal as a teacher and tutor is not just to teach students about Physics and Maths. I believe strongly in the old adage 'Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime.'
I focus on teaching students how to learn independently and become resilient students who take responsibility for their own learning. These skills can then be used across all subjects and for the rest of their lives.
