About Carl
I am 23 years old and have recently completed my master's dissertation for a degree in economics. I completed my matric certificate in 2016 and achieved 95% for my final economics papers. I furthered this obtaining a degree in economics and risk management and an honours degree in economics. During my time at university I taught various fellow students economics and helped all of them to pass/ achieve distinctions within their modules. This is where my passion grew for teaching. I have further been employed part time by the North West University to help various first year students to achieve their goals. My experience and knowledge helps me to excel as a teacher and help others achieve their goals.

I am fluent in both Afrikaans and English and can provide lessons in both languages. I believe that students need to interact with the work themselves and make their own mistakes since this allows them the opportunity to learn. By providing the classes, I present the students with an opportunity to make these mistakes before their exams and therefore to excel when it counts. Given that my degree is an honours in economics, I am able to help students up till this level, however, I pride myself on taking complex material and simplifying it for anyone to understand. Therefore, I am equipped to help anyone, no matter their skill level.

Details
The first lesson is free. From there I can evaluate how many sessions may be necessary for the student to succeed and we can establish a schedule that suits both myself and the student for R140 per hour.
