About Mahmoud
I am a student, just like those I hope to tutor, so I understand what it feels like to struggle with a subject and fall behind. That experience is what first inspired me to start teaching. Economics has always been one of my strengths, and I’ve discovered that I can break down even the most complex ideas into clear, simple explanations. I enjoy connecting economic concepts to real-world examples, making them easier to grasp and more engaging. This ability to simplify and contextualise is what I believe makes me an effective tutor. Using my tutoring methods, I am able to ensure that not only do my students grasp all the necessary economic concepts, but also that they are able to apply them in both real world, and exam related scenarios.

I have been teaching for the past year and achieved strong results, allowing me to develop a strong and efficient tutoring method. My tutoring course is structured to take 2 months of preparation for an exam. I cover the syllabus content in the first month, creating study materials with my students in the process. I then cover exam technique in the following month, including question structures, paragraph structuring and time management. This involves many past papers which I mark and provide feedback on during the lessons, allowing my students to develop over time. These lessons are usually 1.5 hours each, and are for GCSE and A level economics students.
