About Shannon
I went to Thailand for three week where I obtained the TEFL qualification. Here I taught children in primary schools of around thirty students. We taught all different ages and subjects, and had to do in depth lesson planning before each lesson. I also taught in Colchester, in a primary school. This was on a one-to-one basis and I was teaching creative writing. I found this hugely interesting and I received very good feedback.

I am a 2.1 BA Creative Writing graduate from the university of Essex. I have previously taught a range of ages in schools and in Thailand. My lesson are fun and varied, I tend to think outside of the box. I explain and teach in a calm and concise manner and I am patient throughout. I would go above and behind to make sure that you feel more confident and knowledgable in that subject. My characteristics as a tutor, is that I am friendly, approachable and patient.
