Methodology
Engaging, modelling expectations, share knowledge and skills to provide guidance and support. Taught students from age 6 - Adult.
Students have always enjoyed learning in an environment which challenges them to try new things, explore different mediums, alongside of developing their knowledge and understanding of Art in the world around them.
Background
An Art teacher of almost 30 years, inspired by my own art teacher, teaching at least 300 students within mainstream education every year. In addition teaching workshops to adults, covering a more craft based curriculum.
In recent years since bring able to keep in touch more easily with ex students through social media, many have gone on to studying Art at Degree level, leading to their own personal exploration, and onto working across a diverse field. GCSE and A Level Results are consistently high, enabling students to pursue different career options.
