About Devanath
I am an artist from Kerala, India, and I completed my undergraduate studies at the College of Fine Arts, Kerala (Thiruvananthapuram), where I specialised in Painting and Printmaking. My artistic practice is multidisciplinary, and I enjoy exploring a wide range of materials, processes, and visual languages. I have participated in several group exhibitions and artist residencies across India, which have helped shape and expand my creative approach. I have also collaborated with the publication Pagal Canvas, with whom I published my first comic in 2023. In 2025, I presented my first solo exhibition at 1Shanthiroad Studio/Gallery, and I was part of Khoj’s Pheer Share program the same year. I am currently pursuing my Master’s in Contemporary Art at the Glasgow School of Art (GSA), further expanding my practice and research within global contemporary art contexts.

My lessons are designed to support learners of all ages and skill levels—from young children above 4 years old to adults exploring art for the first time or looking to advance their creative practice. I focus on building a strong foundation across various mediums, including drawing, painting, sculpting, and printmaking, while encouraging each student to discover and develop their own artistic voice. As a multidisciplinary artist, I bring a broad range of creative approaches into my teaching, including illustration, comics, mixed media, and contemporary art practices. Each lesson is tailored to individual goals—whether you’re seeking structured skill-building, portfolio development, professional art guidance, or simply an expressive and enjoyable creative outlet. With two years of teaching experience and an undergraduate degree in Painting and Printmaking, I bring both technical expertise and real-world artistic insight to every session. I am currently pursuing my Master’s in Contemporary Art Practices at the Glasgow School of Art, further enriching my teaching methods and artistic perspective. Students can expect supportive guidance, clear demonstrations, personalised feedback, and a learning environment that celebrates curiosity, experimentation, and growth.
