My Teaching Approach (The "Engineer's Method") My teaching style is focused on building a strong, logical foundation. As an engineer, I am patient and methodical. 1. Build a Strong Foundation: We will start with the absolute basics. My goal is to find any gaps in your knowledge and fill them. You cannot build a strong structure on a weak foundation. 2. Focus on "Why," Not Just "How": I will never just tell you to "memorize this formula." I will show you where it comes from, why it works, and how it connects to other topics. This "first principles" thinking is the key to mastering any technical subject. 3. Problem-Solving Practice: This is essential. We will solve a lot of problems together. I will guide you through the process, from identifying the core question to setting up the solution and checking the answer. 4. Real-World Connection: I will use my engineering background to give you practical examples. Why do we learn Linear Algebra? Because it's used in computer graphics and AI. Why do we need Calculus? To model everything from a rocket's flight to economic trends. Your First Class Your first class (or a 30-minute consultation) is dedicated to you.
