About Tania
I’m a Civil Engineering graduate from the University of Auckland with a strong background in maths, physics, and problem-solving. Alongside my studies, I’ve worked as a tutor for several years, helping students from primary school through to high school build confidence in STEM subjects.
I enjoy teaching because I remember how frustrating these subjects can feel when concepts aren’t explained clearly. My goal is to make difficult ideas easier to understand and help students develop the confidence to tackle challenging problems on their own.

I’ve been tutoring students throughout high school and university across a range of ages and abilities. My approach focuses on breaking complex problems into simple, repeatable steps so students can build confidence and learn how to approach challenging questions independently.
I tailor lessons to each student’s learning style and aim to make sessions engaging and interactive. For older students this may include exam strategies and problem-solving techniques, while for younger students I keep learning fun and motivating with short breaks and positive reinforcement.
