About Koen
Are you ready to take on a new challenge and grow your skills? Whether you want to master Dutch, deepen your yoga practice, or try something new, my lessons are tailored to your goals and designed to build your confidence while having a good time.
I’m Koen, a social and active researcher and teacher who loves connecting with people and sharing what I know. As a native Dutch speaker with a PhD in psychology and a certified yoga teacher (YTT200), I bring a unique mix of expertise and enthusiasm to every lesson.

Drawing from my YTT200 certification and years of practice, I offer personalized Vinyasa and Power yoga sessions. My teaching emphasizes stamina, alignment, and mindfulness, catering to both beginners as well as intermediate practitioners.
I tailor my lessons to the unique needs and goals of each student, combining structured guidance with an adaptive, engaging style. I prioritize creating a supportive and motivating environment where learners feel comfortable asking questions and exploring challenges.
Typical length of a lesson: 50 minutes, with options for shorter or longer sessions based on your needs.
Qualifications and experience: Certified yoga teacher (YTT200) with a strong focus on integrating mind-body practices. PhD in psychology. Experience as a researcher and educator.

Koen is a fantastic, patient teacher, and has a friendly, fun way of teaching and works to find a time that is best for you.
