About Shreya
My teaching method is rooted in the traditional principles of yoga while being adapted to the individual needs, abilities, and goals of each student. I teach Hatha Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga, and Pranayama with a strong emphasis on mindful movement, proper alignment, breath awareness, and consistency.
I begin my sessions with gentle centering and breathing practices to help students become calm, focused, and aware of their bodies. This is followed by warm-up movements, carefully structured asanas, and guided transitions. I explain each posture clearly, demonstrate the correct technique, and offer modifications wherever necessary so that students can practice safely and confidently.
In my classes, I encourage students to respect their bodies and progress at their own pace rather than forcing difficult postures. I focus not only on flexibility and physical strength but also on improving posture, balance, concentration, relaxation, and inner awareness. Through Pranayama and relaxation techniques, I help students connect their breath with their body and mind.
My aim is to create a peaceful, supportive, and inclusive learning environment where every student feels comfortable, motivated, and inspired. I believe that yoga is a lifelong journey of self-discipline, healing, self-discovery, and overall well-being.

I am a certified Yoga Teacher specializing in Hatha Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga, and Pranayama. With years of teaching experience, I help students develop strength, flexibility, balance, mindfulness, and inner well-being through personalized and mindful yoga practices. My classes are suitable for beginners as well as intermediate practitioners, with a focus on correct alignment, breathing techniques, conscious movement, and overall physical and mental wellness. I believe yoga is not just an exercise but a holistic journey toward a healthier, calmer, and more balanced life.
