About Maria
I’m a certified yoga teacher originally from Costa Rica, now based in Colorado. Alongside teaching yoga, I also work full-time in digital marketing, which gives me a unique understanding of the stress, overwhelm, and fast pace many people experience daily.
Yoga became a way for me to reconnect with myself through movement, breath, and mindfulness, and that’s the same feeling I hope to create for my students. My teaching style is approachable, supportive, and rooted in helping people feel comfortable exactly as they are - whether they’re stepping onto the mat for the first time or returning after time away.
I teach slow flow yoga, mindfulness, desk yoga, outdoor classes, and corporate wellness sessions with a focus on reducing stress, improving mobility, and creating sustainable practices that fit into real life.

My classes are designed for busy people who want yoga to feel supportive, approachable, and realistic — not intimidating. I teach slow flow yoga, breathwork, mindfulness, and desk yoga with a focus on stress relief, nervous system support, mobility, and helping students reconnect with themselves through movement.
A typical class blends mindful movement, breath awareness, and grounding practices that leave you feeling calmer, stronger, and more present. I work with beginners, professionals, remote workers, and anyone feeling overwhelmed by the pace of daily life.
As someone who also works full-time in the corporate world, I understand what it feels like to juggle responsibilities, burnout, and the need for balance. My teaching style is warm, down-to-earth, and focused on helping students build a sustainable practice that fits real life.
