About Saema
I am a professional fine artist and an alumna of The Art Students League of New York, completing my studies in 2023. My dedication to technical excellence was recognized with a 'Blue Dot' award, one of the institution's highest honors for student excellence. I am also the founder of the brand 'Wild Seed,' where I continue to explore symbolic themes in my personal practice. I bring this deep studio experience to my one-on-one sessions, helping students master the beauty of classical painting.

My teaching approach follows the traditional atelier method. Rather than following a rigid lecture, I believe in an immersive 'learning by doing' environment where we jump directly into the painting process. I focus on helping students understand the 'skeleton' and structural accuracy of a still life before moving into color and refinement. Each lesson is tailored to the student’s individual pace, ensuring they build a strong technical foundation while developing their own artistic voice.

My teaching is grounded in the classical traditions of the Great Masters, such as Rembrandt and John Singer Sargent. Having studied at The Art Students League of New York and received the 'Blue Dot' award for technical excellence, I provide students with a structured path to mastering oil painting and portraiture.
In our sessions, we will focus on:
