Gaining admission to study physics in Lagos could be done in two ways:

Writing WASSCE and JAMB
This is the commonest mode of entry into the University. To get admitted to study physics, you must get credit passes in 5 subjects, which include English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and biology. These are the core subjects for a science student. For JAMB, the four subjects you will write are English, Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. While some universities use 180 as the cut-off mark for JAMB, others might decide to go with a score of 200. These scores are largely dependently on the general performance of students in the exam.
Note that meeting the requirements listed above does not automatically land you an admission. The five credit passes and scoring high in JAMB are just steps to securing admission.
