About Marissa

During my Bachelor studies in Biology, I was a teaching assistant for Biochemistry and Biology for medical students and for Developmental Biology for biology students. I tutored a client attending the preparatory course for nursing school in cell biology. My teaching experience is largely in language education through private lessons and a teaching position at a private school in 2018. I have experience with students with limitations from within language education (ADHD, Autism and Dyslexia).

About the lesson

Together we look at what you struggle with and find ways to learn that suits you best. We explore various tools together to support the learning process. This way we can best determine your learning style from the different types: visual (photo/pictures), kinesthetic (through movement), audio (hearing) or verbal (speaking/writing).

Excellent! Hele geduldige vrouw en geeft goed uitleg aan de hand van voorbeelden. Zo blijft de stof veel beter hangen. Denkt mee in mogelijkheden en gaat echt op zoek naar manieren om de stof passend te maken, gericht op de student. Bedankt Marissa!

Ik ervaar Marissa als zeer prettig. Wegens mijn slechthorendheid heb ik meer moeite met het uitspreken van Engels. Marissa weet diverse methoden in te zetten waardoor ik steeds vloeiender Engels ben gaan spreken. Daarnaast leert ze me veel over de Engelse taal en vind ik haar lessen erg leerzaam.
