About Dora

Hi! I'm Dora. I'm currently studying Bachelor of Biomedical Science (Scholars Program) at Monash University. I have had 2 years of tutoring experience. Received A* (Biology) A* (Chemistry) A (Math) in A levels, along with a gold in the biology olympiad. I am extremely passionate about helping others and strive to help every one of my students achieve the best grades they possibly can and succeed with confidence.

About the lesson

Biology lessons, for anyone looking to excel in the subject. I can tutor IB, VCE and A levels I am particularly skilled at exam technique with respect to the A level qualification, across multiple exam boards.

I use a student-centred, scaffolded approach. We start by identifying gaps in foundational knowledge using quick diagnostic quizzes. I then break down complex topics into bite-sized, digestible concepts, moving from guided practice to independent problem-solving. I heavily emphasise active recall and past-paper practice to ensure long-term retention and exam confidence.

60-120 minute lessons.
2 years of tutoring experience.
