About Annaya
I have always enjoyed helping others learn and develop confidence in their abilities. As an older sister and an experienced tutor, I find it incredibly rewarding to see students progress and achieve goals they may not have thought were possible. I am particularly fascinated by Biology and enjoy sharing that enthusiasm with my students, helping them see the subject as more than just facts to memorise. My aim is to create a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and building genuine understanding.

I adapt my teaching to each student’s learning style and academic goals. Drawing on four years of tutoring experience, I break down complex biological concepts into clear, manageable steps and help students develop effective revision and exam techniques. Academically, I achieved A*AA at Cheltenham Ladies’ College, including an A in A-Level Biology, and recently graduated from the University of Edinburgh with First-Class Honours in MA Psychology and Business. My degree included extensive study of neuroscience, research methods, statistics, and biological approaches to behaviour, providing a strong foundation in both the scientific content and analytical skills required for success in Biology. Alongside my academic achievements, I have developed effective study and revision techniques that I now share with my students.
