About the lesson

- I think that active student participation is important during class. This could be posing challenging queries, starting conversations, or, if practical, adding practical exercises and experiments. My typical lesson plan to demonstrate this will pick the topic of cellular respiration
Introduction (5 minutes): I start out by giving a general review of cellular respiration, stressing its significance in the synthesis of energy and its applicability to cells in both plants and animals.
Important Ideas (15 minutes): I decompose cellular respiration into three stages: oxidative phosphorylation, the citric acid cycle, and glycolysis. I describe the molecular processes involved in each step using illustrations.
