My teaching method is based on the individual. The Schooling system fails to understand that learning styles differ with each individual. For example, if you are a logical learner I'd use minds maps to identify patterns, associations, and relationships between concepts. No matter what type of learner you may be my teaching methods will always break down information into concepts and facts, as I have learned that it is crucial to differentiate between the two.
I am an undergraduate Biochemistry student at the University of Manchester and have had 3 years of private tutoring experience. From my own experience, I understand how ineffective teachers may be as I self-taught both IGCSE and A level biology and gained an A* for both IGCSE's and A levels. At university, I have been able to maintain a first class and have obtained 80% for my dissertation. Being a biochemist I also have tons of experience with laboratory skills and calculations. I would love to share my knowledge and study tips which have worked exceptionally for me. I specialise in tutoring students doing their GCSE's and A levels.
