About Nikita

I have given several presentations and tutoring classes to students at the undergraduate level, mainly to students transitioning into the field of bioinformatics. I have taught students from different backgrounds including secondary school as well as people from biology, computer science, and engineering.

About the lesson

Will assess the level of students in terms of biological and computing knowledge before starting. Depending on level and skill, will help with:
- Introduction to the core biological concepts behind bioinformatics analysis
- Introduction to R programming
- How to develop and improve bioinformatics skills
- Relevant information to specific areas there might be interest in (i.e. RNA or genome sequencing, microarray analysis, accessing databases, etc)
