Bachelor of Arts from the University of Anchorage Alaska. I have 10+ experience with graffiti art stencil making, spray painting, acrylic abstract painting, drawing with paint markers and drawing in g

I have taken Mel's abstract painting class! She made it very fun and not stressful at all. When I felt like I messed up, she showed me what I could do to fix what I didn't like. Mostly the abstract painting made it free range to express myself however I choose! Mel is easy to get along with, down to earth and the lessons didn't even feel like lessons. It felt like I was learning from a good friend which is way better than the usual classroom experience. You are missing out on a good teacher! Worth it!

I met Mel in Alaska a few years back. She was teaching an art class for free at the time. I believe she was still getting her degree. Mel made learning art fun and not the usual art lessons. Very creative, innovative and inspirational. I almost wanted to give up, but she kept me going. Now, I watercolor properly and I am able to watercolor the sunsets I've been wanting to do. She's very bubbly, positive and fun! If you don't like Mel, there's something wrong with you!
