About Aya
As a medical student training to become a doctor, professionalism is central to everything I do. While I'm friendly and approachable, I always maintain a respectful and focused environment as a tutor. I was born and raised in an Arab country, and Arabic is my native language. I've spoken it all my life and with a mother who's an Arabic teacher, teaching is something I've grown up around. You can count on me to bring that passion and dedication into every lesson!

I'd describe myself as a versatile and adaptable tutor. My main focus is finding the right learning style for each student, whether that's flashcards, active recall, or something else. Everyone learns differently and I'm here to support that. A typical lesson with me starts with the basics, introductions, getting familiar with the Arabic alphabet, and building a strong foundation before moving forward at your own pace. What sets me apart is my passion for helping students connect with the deeper beauty of the Arabic language, like meanings that can't be translated.
