About Marisa
I have been a practicing artist for a little over 10 years. My art education began in high school, and is actively continuing into the bachelor's level. Art education has always been my passion! I am also knowledgeable in art philosophy and history.

I tailor my lessons based on 3 factors: the student's strengths, the student's weaknesses, and the student's learning style.
Before beginning a lesson, I will spend some time getting to know the student to ensure a thorough understanding of what they need help with and how they interact with learning materials.
I teach primarily for the K-12 demographic. I am open to teaching Postsecondary, depending on the specific class/degree level they are at.
