About Vanessa
Hello, I’m Vanessa. I am passionate about art, visual communication, and graphic design, with a strong foundation built through years of creative training and academic study. As a Year 2 Architecture student at the University of Manchester, I have developed a deep understanding of design principles, composition, and creative process and will bring directly into my teaching. I completed AQA Art GCSE and Graphic Communication A Level with A grades, giving me clear insight into the exam requirements, assessment criteria, and what makes a strong sketchbook or portfolio. In addition to my academic work, I am constantly exploring new creative approaches and visual styles, from traditional drawing to graphic layout and digital design. I am committed to supporting you in your artistic journey, whether you are preparing for GCSE/A Level, improving your design skills, or building a portfolio. I look forward to helping you achieve your creative goals.

As a Year 2 Architecture student at the University of Manchester, I support GCSE and A Level students in developing strong artistic skills, creative thinking, and portfolio-ready work. Having completed AQA Art GCSE and Graphic Design A Level myself with A grade, I understand the mark schemes thoroughly and can guide students on how to meet the assessment criteria with clarity. My teaching focuses on helping students improve drawing, visual communication, idea development, and presentation skills. I provide step-by-step support to build a structured workflow, refine techniques, and strengthen personal style. Whether you need help with coursework, sketchbook development, or preparing a portfolio for university, I tailor every lesson to your goals. All lessons are delivered online.
