About Jake

Hi, I’m Jake — a passionate and experienced Japanese language tutor with a strong connection to both Japanese and Australian cultures. As a bilingual speaker who grew up speaking both English and Japanese, I understand the challenges that come with learning a second language and how to overcome them. I’ve spent time living and studying in Japan, giving me not only advanced language proficiency but also deep cultural insight that I bring into my lessons. About the lesson

I offer Japanese language tutoring tailored to a wide range of learners, from primary and high school students to university-level and adult learners. My approach focuses on strengthening weak areas and building confidence through targeted support, rather than overwhelming students with extra work.

Lessons typically run for 60 minutes and are structured to be engaging, practical, and relevant to what the student is already learning, especially for those looking to improve school performance or prepare for exams.
