About Haylee
My name is Haylee! I recently graduated with my Bachelors Degree in English Education. During my time in college I spent three years working in a student support program mentoring and working alongside college students. I have a passion not only for English and Writing, but also for student success. I believe that every student bring important and powerful value to every space they enter. Given the right support and opportunity students excel! I want to be apart of making that possible for you or your student. I have been trained in pedagogical practices, and I have a deep understanding of how every student learns in their own unique way! I cannot wait to work with you and help you reach your goals!

I spent the last four years not only studying English and Writing, but also studying various teaching methods and styles. I have a deep understanding of how students learn and how to develop unique lesson plans for each individual student to be successful because after all we are all different and bring different things to the table!
Your first session with me will be free and be all about getting to know each other and helping me better understand your needs so we can make sure I am the right fit for you. The following session we will set some goals and start diving into the learning! Based on your goals I will come to our session with exercises and things for us to practice. We can also spend time working on actual assignments that you have going on in your classes. I will help you keep track of your progress and before you know it you won’t need me anymore!
I have been mentoring students for 3 years at both the high school and college level!
