About Opeyemi
I have a degree in English from the Department of Modern European Languages and Linguistics in a university in Nigeria. I have been a private tutor for 5 years teaching literacy to both primary and secondary school students more of those using the British Curriculum. I have taught both Nigerians and few non-Nigerians.

I apply the student-centred approach to learning where students' participation is crucial. I prepare materials to help facilitate learning and assess students' performance at the end of each class. My class is deliberately made to be interactive. I have a flexible teaching plan that meets the varying comprehension abilities of each student rather than a rigid methodology which may not work for some students. I believe the end justifies the means, therefore I study my student and apply a method that works.
