About Blanca
"Have you ever wondered why your bow arm feels rigid during a difficult passage? I focus on the mechanical side of playing, utilizing my background in spiccato and staccato bowing to help you find ease.
Having taught 233 students, I know how to break down shifting positions and complex double stops into manageable chunks for any learner. Whether we are doing ear training or refining your tone production, I keep the work focused on ABRSM and Trinity requirements.
Music theory is the foundation I build upon to ensure you truly understand the notes on the page. My studio teaching style is technical yet friendly, keeping you on track for your upcoming exams. I look forward to helping you play with more confidence."

Before we set the practice plan, I observe your current technique to ensure no bad habits are hindering your growth. My 11 years of experience as a performer and teacher guide this evaluation, ensuring every minute of our time together is used to resolve specific technical hurdles. I earned a Master of Music from Queensland Conservatorium and apply that formal training to simplify even the most daunting concertos.
We will use this time to address your tone production and shifting positions with a high level of technical rigor. My lessons prioritize the small adjustments that create the largest impact on your sound. You will leave the studio with a clear roadmap for your weekly practice."
