About Clarissa

I'm an urban homesteader with 10 years experience in home canning and food preservation. I have taught individuals and small groups informally. I have earned numerous first and second place awards for my canned goods, as have my first two students (my daughters).

About the lesson

I offer lessons to all skill levels, starting with the basics of water bath canning to more precise pressure canning. Lessons are informal and fun while giving you the confidence to tackle the task on your own at home later.
