About Liv
Sometimes it feels like the violin chose me rather than the other way around. My background includes a BA Music degree from Yale and broad exposure to teaching 369 students. I help performance focused students, returning learners, and kids refine their posture, hold, vibrato, and tone production.
These skills facilitate left hand agility and precise spiccato or staccato bowing. I provide a diagnostic assessment before setting the practice plan for your development. My aim is to help you achieve your specific musical ambitions.

Focusing on the smallest details often yields the biggest results in violin playing. You will explore the nuance of tone production through controlled bowing and deliberate left hand placement.
We work through scales and arpeggios to build muscle memory while reading music with increased fluency. Posture is the silent foundation for every beautiful note you will produce in our studio.
