About Kimberly
Your first session starts with a simple vocal assessment to determine your natural range. I value clarity above all else. I build a personalized song list specifically around your vocal range so you can learn through music that actually suits you. This ensures that every technique we discuss has immediate application.
Just breathe. We translate the academic theory from my Diploma of Music into your daily practice. It will come together over time.

Singing requires a level of vulnerability that can feel intimidating when you are first starting out. My method for adults, teens, and kids centers on the reality that voice is a physical instrument.
I have worked with 381 students to refine breathing control, belting technique, and tone resonance. Growing up in Bogotá and performing in Australia for 13 years taught me that emotional honesty is the key to good diction. I emphasize microphone technique and stage fear management to help you feel grounded. My background in guitar supports our work on pitch control and head and chest voice.
We will also focus on warm up exercises and vibrato control to keep your instrument healthy. I look forward to hearing your voice develop and finding the right path for your musical growth.
