About Angela
Teaching started for me as a quiet observation of how music shapes the way we hear new sounds and rhythms. Grammar is often just a melody that students have not learned to sing yet.
With a BFA in Music Performance and TESOL certification from Concordia University, I see language as a performance art. My 13 years of experience involve helping over 450 newcomers and professionals find their voice in a new country. I lean into the community choir model where everyone learns by doing. My CELTA training ensures that my methods are grounded in clear, structural pedagogical research.
I have worked with absolute beginners who are terrified of speaking and university applicants aiming for high test scores. Whether you are navigating a job interview or just daily life, my goal is to make the process feel like a natural conversation. You will find that your path to fluency becomes much clearer once we establish these foundational rhythms. I look forward to supporting your progress toward your specific language goals.
