About CHANDANA SREE
Hi, I'm Chandana — a Data Engineer with 6+ years of hands-on industry experience at Cigna Healthcare, Morgan Stanley, and Optum, and a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Oklahoma (2025).
I have spent years building real production-grade data pipelines, writing Python and SQL that processes tens of millions of records daily, and working inside Agile engineering teams at Fortune 500 companies. I know exactly what employers are looking for — and I teach you precisely those skills.
My approach is patient, structured, and always practical. I do not believe in teaching abstract theory in isolation. Every session we write real code together, solve genuine data problems, and build skills you can immediately apply in coursework, interviews, or on the job. Whether you are stuck on a SQL concept, struggling with Python, learning PySpark for the first time, or preparing for a data engineering interview, I will meet you exactly where you are and move at a pace that works for you.
I pride myself on clear communication, punctuality, and genuine investment in each student's progress. My students leave sessions not just with answers, but with a deeper understanding of why things work the way they do — which is what makes the difference between passing a class and building a real career.
I look forward to working with you and helping you achieve your goals with confidence.

Teaching Method & Techniques
I teach through real-world problem-solving. Every session is built around hands-on code — we write actual Python scripts, build real SQL queries, and work through genuine data pipeline challenges together. I use the explain → demonstrate → practice → review cycle: I explain the concept briefly, show it working live in a notebook or IDE, then guide you through building it yourself while I provide immediate feedback. I adapt my pace entirely to you — if something clicks fast, we accelerate; if something needs more depth, we slow down and approach it from a different angle.
A Typical Lesson Plan
A standard 60-minute session runs as follows: 10 minutes reviewing the previous session and answering any lingering questions; 20 minutes of concept introduction with live coding demonstration; 20 minutes of guided hands-on practice where you write and I coach; 10 minutes of review, common mistakes, and a mini-challenge to complete before the next session. Every session ends with clear next steps and resources.
What Sets Me Apart
I bring 6+years of real enterprise experience from Cigna Healthcare, Morgan Stanley, and Optum — meaning I teach you what actually gets used in production, not what's in textbooks. I hold an M.S. in Computer Science (University of Oklahoma, 2025) and have built pipelines processing 10M+ records daily using the exact tools employers are hiring for today. I won't waste your time on outdated techniques — every lesson is aligned with current industry standards and real job requirements.
Who These Lessons Are For
My sessions are ideal for:
Students in CS, Data Science, or Engineering programs at undergraduate or graduate level
Career switchers transitioning into data engineering, data analysis, or cloud roles
Working professionals upskilling in Python, SQL, PySpark, Azure, or Power BI
