About Arush

Maybe it's a finance assignment where the model won't balance, a case study due Friday, or an interview process with a timed Excel test. Most of my Excel students arrive with one of those.

I've built spreadsheets for a living: 10+ years of financial models and valuation work at large corporates. I'll show you the habits finance and consulting teams use, so your files are easy to follow and still work when the assumptions change.

I've worked with people who'd never typed a formula, and with professionals who needed multi-sheet financial models built or fixed. VBA, pivot tables, Power Query.

About the lesson

I do both ongoing lessons and one-off help for assignments or projects.

For ongoing tutoring, I start from wherever you are. Beginners work through formulas and data formatting first. Once that's solid, we move into pivot tables, lookups, and logic functions. More advanced students get into VBA, Power Query, and financial modelling.

For project work and assignments, send me a brief before we speak. I'll look at it beforehand so the session is focused. Works well for university assignments, work spreadsheets, or building a model you need done.

Most people I work with are in finance, consulting, and business operations role. The specific topics vary: Pivot tables, VBA, VLOOKUP, financial functions, data dashboards, depends what you're trying to solve.

Bring your assignment prompt, project file, or case study directly to our call. I'll share my screen or look at yours, walk through the logic line by line, and help you build or fix the spreadsheet.

The aim is simple: if a professor or interviewer points at any cell in your file, you can explain it.

What I typically help students with:
- Assignment & coursework help: Building the model with you, fixing formula errors, and making sure the numbers balance.
- Core to advanced formulas: XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, dynamic arrays (FILTER, UNIQUE), nested IF statements, and clean formatting.
- Financial models from scratch: 3-statement models, DCF valuations, and debt/cash flow schedules.
- Data cleaning & pivot tables: Using Power Query and pivot tables to summarize messy datasets in minutes.
- Interview & assessment prep: Walking through 2-hour or 48-hour hiring case studies so you feel calm and prepared under timed conditions.
