About Michael
I am a 17 year old highschool graduate with a love for Chess, Mathematics and Computer Science among other things. I have taken many tutoring opportunities in the past and I love the process of teaching and allowing students to understand something they previously didn't in a field which I have passion for. Having just finished highschool, I understand and can relate to many problems students are having in computer science and coding, as I have likely already helped a classmate understand the same. I also have a lot of personal experience within the field of coding and creation of functioning algorithms.

I have a straight forward approach to school IT coding and algorithms which starts from the foundations of learning how to write algorithms in a general sense and how to think when solving a problem before proceeding onto coding aspects. I attempt to allow the student to visualize the solution in a more understandable way before following onto code.
I have coached chess for over 2 years at my school, have also participated in peer tutoring, and have personally taught some of my friends aspects of mathematics, chess, and java programming. I have done Higher Level IB Computer Science at my school and have coded games in java is a hobby for 6 years.
I tutor solely online and prefer 1 hour lessons, but I am down to arrange any time length. Mostly targeted at primary school and junior high school (Years 7-10) students.
