About Kirk
I've been teaching Music full time as a Chicago area Band, Orchestra, Jazz, and Percussion Educator for well over 24 years. My Students have gone on to have great success in their careers and musical pursuits. I hold degrees from Northern Illinois University and VanderCook College of Music. In 2020 I was recognized by Quinlan & Fabish as a Chicagoland outstanding Music Educator

I believe in Student-guided lessons, we discuss your goals before creating a custom curriculum of study. Each lesson is open for an "audible," where we work on any materials you would like to work on. I get that sometimes pressing things arise like a playing test or audition.
I treasure working 1 on 1 with my Studio. My Students have gone on to great heights in their Musical careers and crushed their goals.
