About Farah

I have tutored students in years 10 and 11 within my school in biology, chemistry. I also have previous experience of teaching maths and english to primary and secondary school children at Kumon, but now I want to specialise in the sciences. I worked a lot with students with learning difficulties and special needs and cater my teaching towards every individual student. I understand how much content there is to learn for the exams and how specific the mark scheme is and I have many ways to help overcome that!

About the lesson

My main aim is making sure you understand the content for the exam by using blurting and mind mapping techniques. Once we have this covered we can look at exam questions and understand how to get the marks by using specific wording

I have been in Farah’s biology and chemistry classes for two years and can honestly say she is the most organised and hardworking person I know. I have often asked her for help in the courses and she has always been able to answer my questions patiently and clearly when I have not found my teachers explanations helpful. Every single time I feel like she has made everything seem a hundred times simpler and I can always count on her to help. I absolutely know without question she would be an incredible tutor and anyone having sessions with her would see a huge improvement in their grades!
