About Yan
Hi! My name is Yan Kipnis, and I’m a 14-year-old English tutor living in the UK. I moved here four years ago, so I know what it’s like to struggle with expressing yourself in a new language. I love helping others learn English, whether it’s through everyday conversations or real-life examples. I’m also a big sports fan, and I love both football and basketball. I enjoy connecting with students by talking about the things we both enjoy, all while building your English skills. I can’t wait to get started!

Hi! In my lessons, I focus on helping students speak English confidently from the very beginning. We practise through conversations, pronunciation exercises, and fun activities that make learning natural and enjoyable.
I also help with spelling and reading, making sure students understand how words sound and are written. I am patient and supportive, so students feel comfortable making mistakes and improving step by step.
Each lesson is adapted to the student’s level, especially for beginners and younger learners. My goal is to make speaking English feel easy, natural, and fun!
