About Amelia
I am a dedicated and professional field hockey coach with experience playing at a high-performance level as a Division 1 Firebrands player and England U18 trialist. I currently compete as the captain of the Bristol Talent Academy and am in the process of recruitment for a US college scholarship, giving me first-hand experience of elite pathways and international opportunities.
Alongside my playing career, I have coaching experience with Avon County, working with players across a range of ages and abilities. My approach to coaching is structured, supportive, and player-focused, with sessions tailored to individual goals. I pride myself on being reliable, well-prepared, and committed to providing high-quality, professional online coaching for players of all ages and levels.

I take a player-centred approach to coaching, adapting each session to the individual’s age, ability, and goals. Sessions focus on clear demonstrations, guided practice, and constructive feedback, with an emphasis on building confidence, game understanding, and strong technical foundations. Lessons are interactive and engaging, with practical tasks players can apply independently.
Online lessons typically last 45–60 minutes and include skill breakdowns, tactical discussions, video analysis where appropriate, and goal setting.
I can also provide guidance on planning areas like recovery and nutrition from what I have learnt as a Division 1 athlete
