About Shlok

I have been playing for 10 years and giving lessons for about 7 years. I have taught young kids, teenagers, and adults how to play the game of chess. I currently am a 16 year old junior at Flower Mound High School.

About the lesson

My teaching method really depends on who I am teaching. If I am teaching young kids then I help them go slow and realize how the game works. Chess is a very complicated game once you really start to understand it and a lot of times when people start they think that it’s going to be too hard for them to understand so they just stop playing. I help people understand the game and get them to realize their way of playing it.
