About Lauren
I’m a recent graduate of Columbia College Chicago with a BFA in Creative Writing. I have been published in multiple literary journals and am incredibly passionate about writing and literature. I also have a deep love of teaching and helping people, and my cheerful and patient attitude help make me the best tutor I can be.

The main goal of my classes is to help students hone in on their own unique writing voice. Through studies of both classic and contemporary literature in all gendered, writing drills, and a wide range of topic assignments, I hope to help students find their groove with the craft. I pride myself on my ability to create an environment that allows for safe, open and honest communication, and I believe this is crucial to growth in writing.
