About Luke
I have five years of teaching experience at River Tech School, and have taught private piano, guitar, and drum lessons. I’m a multi-instrumentalist and actively serve as a youth worship leader and Sunday service music director for years.
I especially enjoy helping musicians understand what they are playing so they can move beyond memorizing songs and begin playing from the heart.
As a teacher, worship leader, and lover of learning, I offer a deep and fluid style of learning that has brought many people to the next level in their instrumentalization.
I care about meeting students where they are, giving honest and encouraging feedback, and providing clear direction they can use between lessons.

I teach adults how to improvise, play by ear, and confidently lead instrumental worship. Instead of studying music theory as just a concept, you will learn how to use theory-in-practice to quickly take your playing to the next level.
We will work on practical chord patterns, simple techniques that quickly improve your playing, and the skills you need to play songs and create your own parts. My feedback is encouraging and clear, and you will leave each lesson knowing what to improve and exactly what to practice at home.
