I was born and raised in Denver, Colorado. I attended DPS schools prior to moving to Los Angeles to attend USC. I moved back right after school.
I love being a teacher! I believe learning should be fun and practical. I use real-world scenarios, academic games, and real time feedback to improve the learning experience.

As a special education teacher, I am an expert at customizing materials and learning experiences to fit the needs of the individual child. I have taught intervention lessons intended to strengthen skills and improve access to general education content. At my school, I have also co-taught 6-8th grade English and Math and know how to increase access to rigorous grade level standards.
