About Kerry
I have been singing since I was a young girl. I studied to AMEB level 6 then enrolled in a BA in contemporary voice at Southern Cross University, Lismore NSW. I have performed in various groups over the years, mostly in the Jazz genre but also Ska, pop, rock and blues bands. I taught singing and music theory to children and teenagers at Soul Music and Dance Academy in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam and sang at 5 star hotels with musicians from around the world. I now live and perform in Ipswich QLD and look forward to teaching again.

Lessons are relaxed and fun with the right amount of structure so as to get the most out of your lesson time. Time is allocated for warm ups and checking on progress through discussion, games and performance. Methodologies from Trinity College of Music mixed with my own learnings over the years. Songs are suggested according to ability and any vocal obstacles worked on and overcome. Students will be given exercises and other homework to continue the learning curve between lessons. I have a flexible teaching style, adapting my approach for every individual to draw out the best from potential.
